Fashion industry: strike two this week

I like the schoolgirl look, I always did. I don't have any fashion sense, but I always loved those little skirts, black sandals and white stockings. It's cute and a little sexy.
Pictures that show girls bending over is not a little sexy, it's provocative and I would not have been surprised to see one of those photos on an online add for porn. 'Sexy schoolgirls bending over to be ravished' would have made a great title.

The series of photos, all done for a 'back to school' American Apparel campaign, pictured young girls as lustobjects again. It's another example of how the fashion world has lost all control. Luckily, it backlashed again and people all over the world reacted with shock.

If I'm interested in buying clothes, I would like to see how the fabric falls when someone is standing up. I couldn't care less about how it looks when you bend over. It looks like a free cum-ticket or something. Am I seriously the only woman out there who worries about her dress being to short? I don't like it when people can see my underwear, f* me, right?


American Apparel isn't new with controversy. I'll give you some examples from past adds that made a lot of eyebrows rise.

First, we have a topless model, lying on a bed, her head is resting on a mans crotch. I'm not even going to comment on this one. What are they trying to sell? Clothes? Sheets? Young women? I'm confused.

I actually like this sweater pictured. I would even consider buying it, if a) I had the funds for it, and b) if the girls bottom was covered. It looks stupid. It looks too stupid for me to even find it offensive. I'm sorry Steffi, but I don't really blame you anyway.

Same shii, different add. I get it now, students are supposed to be sexy. And with 'sexy', they mean 'show them your A**'! Just rub that a** in someone's face, and glory will be upon thee.

If anyone can tell me what the link is between long stockings and having an orgasm, please inform me. I am not aware of this knowledge. I always thought socks to be the least sexy piece of clothing. Unfortunately, it'll take more then 3 'sex' pictures to make me change my mind.

Just google 'American Apparel' for more distasteful adds. Enough fashion for me this week.
